Antony Hampel or Ant Hampel Ant Hampel – Founder and director of two of Australia’s premier event management and entertainment companies, Antony Hampel is a highly regarded event producer, transforming the industry with widely published, highly successful, award winning events and brand activations.

His first Melbourne based event management company, think creative events (established in 1999) sold in 2007 to Commquest. In 2010 he opened his second venture, alive events. During this time both think and alive have staged some of Australia’s highest profile public, experiential and and business events.  His clients range from A-list celebrities to leading global corporations. A multi-talented and awarded event producer and entertainment marketer, Ant Hampel is recognised for reinventing how brand activations can be shared in a powerful and distinct live format.

Sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of event producers is integral to Ant’s involvement in the industry. Ant Hampel has lectured in Events and Entertainment Marketing at Victoria University, Boston University, Sydney University and R.M.I.T. Ant also frequently addresses industry conferences and expo’s as well as being part of the ISES organisation (formerly on the ISES committee of the Melbourne Chapter).

A passion for social justice and improving the lives of others sees Ant contributing to many cause related projects for charitable organisations where his vision is create news ways of raising awareness and funding for worthy causes including Red Cross, Mirabel Foundation, Are You OK Day, Fifteen, Y Gap and Open Family.

In late 2013, Antony Hampel was appointed as advisor to the Banksia Foundation board of directors. The Banksia Foundation, established in 1989, is a national not-for-profit organisation that promotes environmental excellence and sustainability through its Awards program and other associated events. The Banksia Sustainability Awards are regarded as the most prestigious environmental awards in Australia.
